Every family has one person holding everyone's healthcare together.

Kinvo gives them a system that remembers.

Healthcare admin is invisible work. Reading hospital letters. Remembering appointments. Managing medications. Translating information. Holding everything in your head. Kinvo helps families organise healthcare so they can spend less time managing and more time being together.

Launching with a limited number of early families.

Helping families organise healthcare — starting with the communities most underserved by the system today.

You may not call yourself a carer.

You might be the daughter reading hospital letters. The son booking appointments. The partner remembering medication. The parent keeping everything together. You're the person quietly holding healthcare together. Kinvo is built for that invisible work.

“More and more healthcare coordination happens at home.”

Families play a bigger role in healthcare than most systems recognise.

The NHS App is the letterbox. Kinvo is what happens after the letter lands.

Families play a bigger role in healthcare than most systems recognise.

Millions of people quietly hold their family's healthcare together. They read letters. Chase appointments. Remember medications. Translate information. Navigate multiple NHS systems. Most don't call themselves carers. They're daughters. Sons. Parents. Partners. And they're carrying an invisible second job.

Our early research

Founder story

Why Kinvo exists.

When my younger brother was diagnosed with cancer, I became his unofficial healthcare administrator. Every letter. Every appointment. Every medication. Every login.

I don't regret a moment of it. But I wish more of that time had gone to simply being his sister.

Years later, I do the same for my mum — a kidney transplant patient with multiple complex conditions.

I realised something: Families don't just need healthcare. They need help managing healthcare.

Kinvo is the system I wish we had.

How it works

Kinvo turns healthcare information into organised action.

  1. 01

    Scan a healthcare letter

Take a photo or upload a PDF.

  2. 02

    Understand instantly

Kinvo explains it in plain language and your chosen language.

  3. 03

    Act

Actions, appointments and medication reminders are created automatically. Kinvo also generates a plain-language family update ready to send in one tap. Nothing falls through the cracks.

  4. 04

    Prepare

Kinvo builds a preparation checklist before each appointment — questions to ask drawn from the person's actual care history, information to bring, medications to review.

  5. 05

    Debrief

After the appointment, Kinvo prompts a structured debrief — medication changes, new instructions, whether it was rebooked or cancelled — all captured and added to the timeline automatically.

  6. 06

    Remember & Share

The event is added to a living timeline, and Kinvo generates a plain-language update sent to the family members you choose — no typing, no forwarding photos, just one tap. Full control over who sees what.

Always running quietly in the background

Kinvo quietly keeps an eye on what hasn't happened yet. A follow-up that's gone quiet, a medication that may need reordering, a check that looks overdue — gentle reminders when something may need attention, even if no new letter has arrived. If a referral has been raised and nothing has moved in months, Kinvo surfaces it.

See it in action

A letter arrives. Kinvo takes it from here.

Take a photo. Kinvo explains it, creates the actions, updates the timeline and tells the right people — automatically.

Research

What families told us.

We conducted in-depth calls and surveys with families who manage healthcare every day.

“The kids open the letter and they know — they organise it.”
Family carer
“If I could do less admin I would love that.”
Family carer
“I wish I could understand more of my letters. Sometimes the GP sends a leaflet in Bengali, and I really appreciate that. I wouldn't have to rely on my children so much.”
Family carer
“There's usually a lot to go through. My husband reads it, then I read it again to make sure nothing's been missed.”
Family carer
“My daughter does a lot of admin for me but I feel guilty asking her as she has her own family now.”

Research ongoing

Kinvo is being built alongside families who manage healthcare every day. Our research shows a consistent pattern across Bengali, Somali and other communities: families coordinate, translate, chase appointments, and carry it all in their heads — even when they already use the NHS App. A wider survey is also live as we continue to validate and refine.

When families are supported, everyone benefits. Kinvo is infrastructure — not just an app — connecting families to the organisations that support them.

For employers

Supporting working carers is good for people and good for business.

Somewhere in your organisation right now, someone is reading a hospital letter on their lunch break, working out whether they need to leave early. It won't show up on a wellbeing survey. They'll just quietly manage it, the way they always do.

  • Premium access for employees
  • Practical support for working carers
  • Anonymous impact reporting
  • Adoption and engagement metrics
  • No employee health information visible to employers

For charities

Reach further without more admin of your own.

Your teams already spend hours helping families make sense of letters, appointments and medication — often one phone call at a time. Kinvo gives the families you support a practical tool they can use every day, so your people can focus on the conversations only they can have.

  • Reach more families with the same team
  • Offer a concrete, practical tool alongside existing support
  • Show funders real usage and outcome data
  • White-label Kinvo under your own charity's name

White-label Kinvo

Charities can offer Kinvo under their own name to support families without adding more admin to their own teams. Your members get the same letter explanations and family coordination tools, but it carries your charity's name and branding, not Kinvo's. You receive an anonymised impact dashboard to show funders what's being achieved.

For health systems

Reducing health inequalities at scale.

Every missed appointment, unread letter and misunderstood instruction has a cost — for patients and for services. The burden falls hardest on families facing language barriers and low health literacy. Kinvo helps people understand what they've been sent, prepare for appointments and follow through, in the language they're most comfortable with.

Fewer missed appointments
Better appointment preparation
Improved health literacy
Reduced inequalities

Starting with underserved communities. Designed for everyone.

Pricing

Free where it matters. Sustainable by design.

Understanding your healthcare should never depend on your ability to pay. That's why Kinvo's core understanding-and-safety features will always remain free. Premium is designed for families carrying a greater coordination burden, helping them manage care across multiple people with additional tools for preparation, organisation and follow-up.

Our vision

A future where healthcare admin doesn't steal family time.

Healthcare admin steals time. Kinvo helps give it back.

No one should lose moments with the people they love because they are busy managing healthcare. Kinvo doesn't replace family care. It helps carry the weight of it. Kinvo exists so families can spend less time managing healthcare — and more time simply being together.

Kinvo doesn't stop at the letter. It asks how the appointment went, logs the outcome, and reminds you about the next dose. It carries the weight so you don't have to.
